I do a lot of traveling in my line of work. I love to stay at Hilton and Embassy suites properties due to how nice they are and the atmosphere. However this hotel does not really live up to the name. It is an old hotel and was not what I was expecting when I booked it. The service was nice, the room was clean but the furniture was old and dated. No remote for the TV could be found in the room. Parking was in an open lot with what looked like little to no security there. It was nice and convenient but it was not the Hilton/Embassy suites experience that I am familiar with.
Very nice hotel. Could use some updating.
The hotel is old and dirty. Hotel had an outsourced driver who took us to the airport. Nice ride and good driver. When we called to order shuttle back to hotel front desk said was no one to pick us up because hotel hasn’t had a shuttle since March and they didn’t know anything about us needing a ride back to hotel to get our car. We paid Uber to tske us to our car. We like park/sleep/fly but we will never use Hilton Embassy Suites in Phoenix. We’ll stay elsewhere next time.
Hotel was very outdated. Could only use heating, no ac. Room was hot and stuffy. Tried to open balcony door and it got stuck open. Parking was good, but it is an open parking lot, no garage.
The hotel was a complete let down. We always use Embassy Suites when we travel. The happy hour was canceled due to the corona virus. The breakfast consisted of a white lunch sack with a half sized bottle of water, a yogurt that expired the same day, an orange and a bagel. The living room wall had tomato sauce on it. The toilet would not flush properly. The car service to the airport was clean but very old. I called the day before coming back and the Embassy staff person gave me a number for the car service. We called when we arrived, and could not understand the driver, except that he said he was at another airport and couldn't help us. When we call Embassy, the front desk told us that car service wasn't available any more.
Great, friendly staff and good location. Unfortunately the building itself is quite old with loud HVAC. It might also be the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in (ie: light switch grime, bathroom black mold, etc).
Great staff, efficient and helpful. Great free breakfast.
Airport shuttle does NOT run 24/7 as website indicates--only runs 5am to 10pm. Website should be updated to reflect this so customers aren't choosing this hotel because of the 24/7 shuttle and then finding out upon returning that there's no shuttle to pick them up after 10pm.
Hotel staff was excellent, however the rooms are very old. Bathroom sink (very low) is in the sleep area, toilet is so low to the ground it was difficult to use, shower is very small, room walls are thin. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Rooms just need to be renovated in a major way.
Great happy hour. Quiet and good night’s sleep before early morning flight. Shuttle dropped us off at airport and picked us up. And we retrieved our car and headed home. Perfect.
This is a great value for staying overnight before your flight. The rooms are clean and the employees are great. It's not a 5 star resort, but it is inexpensive for an early flight and parking for the week while you are gone.
Horrible bed with “thin walls”, had purchased 2 nights stay (outgoing and returning nights) but elected to just drive home on return to Tucson at midnight rather than face another nights stay even though with the time zone change our bodies thought it was 3 am! Warning Shuttle does not run after 10pm. Location is not bad, about 3-4 miles from airport, so in my mind it was just expensive parking.
The hotel is not new, but the pool atrium was green and welcoming. The happy hour bartender and drinks were great. The addition of some protein snacks would have been appreciated. The shuttle service was superb on both ends. We will be back.
