Guest Reviews
The hotel and location parking was perfect for our flight. Front desk staff was very helpful as well as the cleaning staff and shuttle service. Loved talking to the shuttle driver. He gave us interesting information about all the businesses on the way to and from the airport. The room and breakfast were adequate for our needs, although the room could be updated.
A good experience
Not a good experience. Our first room hadn’t been cleaned the second room had a musty dirty smell. The covetlet had what looked like cigarette burns. The bathroom had a broken loose tile in the floor. We reminded check-in that we would be using the shuttle to the airport at 3:30 the next morning. The shuttle was out the next morning at 3:30 for break repairs so we had to get an Uber. The reason we picked this hotel was the parking of our vehicle during our vacation and the shuttle service. On the return trip the shuttle was available. We will not stay there again.
Tired property with deferred maintenance apparent (room doors with broken hardware &/or scratched door frames; lots of permanent residents; however, pleasant staff & clean. Met our purpose re: LT parking & airport access
Hotel was ok . Shuttle services were an issue. Had no issues calling but then even got luggage, the shuttle was no where to be found and had to keep calling the hotel as the shuttle driver was driving around somewhere instead of being at the airport. It was way more than enough time to be there. We got in late and I had children with me.
Old. Looks like updates are being made, though
The hotel is old but clean. Going to the airport from the hotel was very good. The driver delivered us right to the front door of the CVG. Coming home was horrible. We called the hotel like we were supposed to do. NO ANSWER! WE called multiple times. NO ANSWER! We found an another number to call. We were informed, after more than 30 minutes of waiting, that their phone lines were not working, yet we got a hold of someone at the hotel, that they could not get ahold of the driver of the van that was supposed to pick us up. We waited, for more than another 30 minute at the pick up destination where all passengers are picked up by airport and hotel vans. After waiting for more than 30 minutes we gathered out luggage and went to the information desk to find where the taxi stand was so we could get to our vehicles at our hotel. The information desk directed us to the taxi stand where the dispatcher was extremely helpful in getting us (there were six of us, plus luggage from a 14 day trip) to our awaiting vehicles to the hotel. Of course at a cost we had not figured into our vacation budget. After almost one-and-a-half (1 1/2) hours after landing, after a seven (7) hour flight, a five (5) hour layover, then another two-and-a-half hour flight (2 1/2) we were delivered by TAXI to our park, ride, fly hotel where our vehicles awaited us. We talked to the person at the desk and were once again told they were still having phone issues. We reminded that person the we had left our itenarairy with the desk. We were told that the manager would review our complaints and get back with us. Evidently the hotel is still having problems with the phone lines, as we have not had a call from them AND when we call the hotel, not one answers. Please understand, we have used this park, ride, fly in the past and they were wonderful as was the park, ride, fly we used in another city. We will use park, ride, fly in the future, just not this hotel.
We were shuttled to the airport on the first day of our vacation, but were not picked up on our final day to be transferred back to the hotel to pick up our vehicle. After an hour and a half trying to contact the hotel to get picked up, we had to call a taxi to get transferred from the airport to the hotel. This is unacceptable.
Hotel check-in was friendly and quick. We appreciated the ease and availability of parking. Room was satisfactory; although there was a spot of blood on the floor near a bed :( Getting shuttle in the morning was fairly prompt (5 to 10 min wait), but we waited at the airport for the shuttle on our return from 5:09 to 5:39, and we were told the shuttle would arrive in 15 min.
We haven’t returned from our trip. But our stay at the beginning was uneventful. All good, out trip to the airport went well and looking forward to our return just the same.
It STUNK....it smelled all over for cigarette smoke
the hotel had great service and shuttle service was great
Leaky roof in the lobby & toilet running each time we flushed
The bathroom floor and room walls were dirty and the room fire alarm (on the ceiling) was covered by plastic grocery bag. We informed the person at counter and cancle our stay.
The hotel smelled like an ashtray. room was very clean but had a musty smell due to the air conditioner leaking onto the floor. When we returned to the airport from Florida, we had to call twice to get the shuttle to pick us up. It took an hour and twenty minutes for them to pick us up.
The hotel was filthy. There were holes in the drywall in the bathroom, the carpet in the room was worn, dirty, and frayed. The lobby and our room had a bad odor. We could not go anywhere else as there was no availability and we had already paid.
Cigarette smoke strong in lobby no one had on a mask employee unprofessional room smelled of smoke but indicated it was non smoking hole in the middle of the tip sheet, mold in the bathroom around the woodwork will never use them agsin
The place needs to be condemned! ommmmggggggg! Do NOT stay here! This was the nastiest hotel that i have ever stayed in! The smell of smoke, vape and body odor was sickening. The baby roaches that I killed in the bathroom made me want to puke! They are aware of this problem because there was a roach trap that fell out of the ac unit. Black mold was on bathroom ceiling, nothing was modern. The carpet... i have no words. I could have used the spoon that was on top of the light in the bathroom to scrape muck from the carpet, that by the way, had cigarette burns everywhere. I slept in my clothes and took my bags to the car that night out of fear of taking roaches home with me. If it hadn't been so late, and i didn't have to fly out early the next morning, i would have insisted on a refund and went somewhere is. The only good thing was the shuttle service and that i could leave my car there.
Staff were great!! Room was not good-mattress not good. Room smelled greasy? Shower creaked no matter what you did.
The Hotel seems VERY rundown. Our first room was very, very bad. Changed rooms to something a bit better. Second time staying at the Wyndam and we will never stay at that hotel again.
