What to Do in Dallas/Fort Worth

Here are a few tips from Debbie, one of our fantastic Customer Service agents, about things not to miss next time you’re in Dallas/Fort Worth:

Don’t forget to visit the Forth Worth Stockyards National Historic District! Every day at noon a group of men riding longhorn steers herd longhorn steers right through town. And right next door is Cattlemen’s Steak House that serves the best steaks around. While in the Stockyards District, head to the Cowtown Coliseum, where you can catch a rodeo, a Wild West Show, and the Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.

If you’re looking for something a little mellower, downtown Fort Worth has several great museums within walking distance. There’s the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Kimbell Art Museum, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth – but if you’re looking for something unique to Texas, The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is not to be missed.

Fort Worth also has a great zoo for those who just love animals of every variety, and sports fans should not forget to tour Rangers Stadium and Cowboys Stadium.
