Santa’s Vacation Travel Plans and Park, Sleep, and Fly!

I know, without a doubt – Santa’s a multitasker.  Let’s face it, the man can get the job done.  Ole St. Nick flies around the world delivering toys to all the good boys and girls in just 24 hours. Seriously, that is some major work in a short amount of time!

To do that he needs a lot of planning! Imagine all the work he must do in the 364 days prior to Christmas Eve.  After all, Santa has a lot to handle every day. He must deal with the Elves’ Union, Reindeer Games, order materials to make toys, and keep up with all the latest technology for the new games kids will want next year for Christmas.  That’s not to mention all the personal appearances that he does at parties, games, parades, and department stores.

Santa leads a hectic life and, Mrs. Claus is always concerned that he’s not getting enough rest and relaxation, so she prompted  him to take some time off.  Santa is an avid traveler and flies all over the world, but he enjoys a nice getaway with Mrs. Claus.  Each year they go to a new and exciting location so they spend quite a bit of time researching the best places to go, what to do, and of course, the travel plans.

They scour the internet looking for the best deals, great hotels and, Santa is into extreme sports (look he goes from housetop to housetop riding a sleigh and going down chimneys).   They look for ziplines, rock climbing, deep sea diving, or wind surfing excursions, but Santa also enjoys relaxing with Mrs. Claus and reading a good book while roasting chestnuts next to an open fire.

This year, Santa found some great deals booking early for his airfare, found a cute little hotel that Mrs. Claus will LOVE (bonus points for Santa), and there are a lot of activities nearby.  Only one drawback, the flight leaves very early and Santa wants no snafus.  He doesn’t want to take a chance on missing their flight because of bad fog over the North Pole, early morning reindeer traffic jams, or an alarm clock that won’t go off.  Mrs. Claus is not a morning person, and he wants her to start off the trip refreshed.  Because, if Mrs. Claus ain’t happy – Santa ain’t jolly.

Over a nice cup of Christmas Cheer, Santa told his pal, Jack Frost, about his upcoming vacation plans and of his dilemma with the early morning flight.  (Mrs. Claus wants to leave the reindeer at home, along with the sleigh).  Jack told him about ParkSleepFly.com.  They could stay the night before or after their trip, leave the car at the hotel,  and ride the hotel’s shuttle to the airport.  Plus, everyone gets a great night’s sleep before traveling all day.

Since Mrs. Claus is a money-cruncher, they found that to use the park, sleep, and fly option was comparable to airport parking alone.  GREAT.  Santa decided that they could stay the night before their flight and avoid any early morning delays due to weather or traffic.  Their car is parked at the hotel for the duration of their trip, and since they are returning late in the evening, they could stay on the return night as well.  Vacation problem solved and all is merry and bright.

Right now, Mrs. Claus is making her travel list and checking it twice.  She doesn’t want to forget anything that they may need for their trip.  After all, the Clauses are leaving town.

As you are looking in your Christmas stocking, think of Santa flying off to his well earned vacation.  You’ll hear him exclaim as he rides out of sight, use ParkSleepFly.com and stay the night before your flight!”
