Abu Dhabi Desert<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If Rey is one of your favorite characters, you’ll love Abu Dhabi. When we first meet Rey in The Force Awakens<\/i>, she’s on the desert planet Jakku, which is really the vast Abu Dhabi desert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tikal National Park, Guatemala<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you’re watching A New Hope<\/i> and look closely, you can see the real-life Mayan ruins of Tikal National Park in the background. When the Millennium Falcon<\/i> lands at a rebel base on the fourth moon of Yavin, you can see the thousand-year-old ruins towering over the jungle canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This gorgeous villa is the setting for Padme and Annakin’s surreptitious wedding in Attack of the Clones.<\/i> While the exterior of the building was digitally altered for the movie, fans will have no trouble discerning the spot where Padme and Annakin kiss for the first time as husband and wife. We still remember it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skellig Michael, Ireland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hotel Sidi Driss or La Grande Dune in Tunisia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tunisia was the filming location for the planet Tattooine, so be prepared for lots of nostalgia when visiting this area. If you want to feel like a young Luke Skywalker, head to the subterranean cave homes where they filmed the interior of his childhood home, now known as Hotel Sidi Driss. Or visit La Grande Dune where you can still visit the exterior shell of his house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
